Responsibilities
Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to members by processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions
Ensure compliance with all applicable credit union regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and other financial regulatory requirements
Identify and promote appropriate credit union products and services to meet members’ financial needs and goals
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
Establish and nurture strong relationships with members to enhance their credit union experience and encourage continued engagement with the institution
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
Demonstrated written and verbal communication
Demonstrated typing and computer usage
Preferred
Familiarity with a broad range of banking products and services
Previous experience in branch banking or financial services environment
Demonstrated experience in cash handling and retail banking operations
Knowledge of banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and other compliance requirements
Strong selling abilities with a proven track record of promoting financial products
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish relationships with members
Certification or training related to financial regulations or compliance
Experience using banking software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
