Responsibilities
Meet or exceed the underwriting sales goal on a monthly basis
Follow the procedures for setting individual salesperson and station budget goals
Effective evaluation of market performance and development of action items to maximize. revenue potential in the market
Attend goal and strategy meetings as needed with the sales team either remotely or on-site to review sales pacing, results, and activity
Qualification
Required
At least two years of hands-on experience in sales, corporate promotion, or marketing required
Three to five (3-5) years of sales experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Must have previous proven sales experience
Excellent sales leadership, interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, excellent written and communication skills
Experience with generating new/active leads along with the implementation of sales-organization within database software
Preferred
Experience in selling radio advertising will be an asset
Experience in public radio or television will be an advantage
Familiarity with copywriting and general database systems will be helpful as well
