Engineering Project Manager - Data Center Mission Critical
Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineering Project Manager to join their Data Center Mission Critical Group. In this role, you will lead engineering projects, manage schedules and financial health, and drive client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate professionalism and dedication, providing exceptional service to both clients and teammates, while fostering positive relationships
Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, managing schedules, and executing recovery plans when needed
Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure smooth project execution
Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage the financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking
Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables, while supporting internal standards and resource management
Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, ensuring successful project execution, while traveling to client facilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years experience in engineering consulting, project manager or data center
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a project manager or engineer with an engineering consulting firm or data center
Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
Knowledge in earned value management and progress reporting
Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Strong coordination and team building skills
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Ability to read and write technically and coherently
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel between 10%-15% of the time which may include fieldwork; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
Preferred
PMP certification preferred
The ideal candidate has worked with a hyperscale data center directly or indirectly as a consultant
