Project Manager Team Lead

Responsibilities
Oversee PMO operations, including RFQ management, bid preparation, and full project order lifecycle from initiation to closeout, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements
Lead and develop PMO team members through coaching, training, and performance management to achieve project objectives
Plan and prioritize project activities, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and milestones
Collaborate with the Manager of Project Business to enhance PMO policies and processes, ensuring ISO-compliant documentation is accurate, current, and accessible
Own and maintain documented processes for proposals and sales order execution, including flow maps, procedures, work instructions, and related forms
Serve as ERP subject matter expert, ensuring data integrity and integration of ERP requirements into PMO documented processes
Identify and mitigate risks by removing roadblocks and coordinating with internal departments to expedite RFQs, quotations, and orders
Provide guidance and direction to assigned resources within WIKA’s PSO Brazil to ensure alignment with PMO standards and project objectives
Monitor ERP entries for quotations and orders to maintain accuracy, timely updates, and early issue detection
Oversee team review of technical documents for bid and manufacturing compliance and guide coordination of changes with CAD and engineering
Act as primary customer escalation points throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues
Conduct contract reviews for technical and commercial accuracy and secure internal approvals prior to proposal submission and order entry
Own all project documentation and records across departments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper management throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee performance management for team members, including conducting evaluations, implementing corrective actions, and supporting individual development planning
Direct project managers in developing inspection plans and supervise adherence to quality specifications and compliance requirements
Facilitate collaboration between PMO, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical inquiries and ensure smooth bid and order execution
Drive timely exchange of project documentation, progress reports, and inspection notices
Ensure project managers procure all required customer approvals for design documents and change orders
Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to advance Project Business objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, plus 5+ years of project management experience in RFQs, bids, and order execution; or 10+ years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role within project business or manufacturing
Technically inclined, with strong understanding of industrial products; 3+ years with process instrumentation or similar equipment preferred
Knowledge of EPC and Capital Projects market and experience servicing EPC customers
Customer service experience in a technical or industrial environment, preferably supporting EPC clients
Strong grasp of contractual and commercial terms and sales administration processes
Verifiable leadership experience guiding PMO teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, Teams, and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 preferred), plus solid understanding of accounting processes and strong numerical aptitude
