Responsibilities
Performing daily cash postings, cash application, and bank‑to‑ERP/general ledger reconciliations, including research and resolution of discrepancies
Managing sales tax processes such as data exports, uploads to Vertex, reconciliations, and compliance‑related support
Calculating and tracking sales commissions using Excel templates and macros, and communicating results with sales representatives
Supporting month‑end close activities, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with ad‑hoc financial requests
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including AP, Sales, and Finance—to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout accounting workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Solid general ledger accounting experience in a small or mid‑sized company environment
Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIFS, IF/THEN logic, pivot tables, and the ability to run macros
Highly adaptable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing shifting priorities
Preferred
Previous experience in sales tax, commissions, and/or Vertex a huge plus
