Responsibilities
Prepare transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
Collect, organize, and maintain accounting and tax data to ensure compliance
Assist with research and interpretation of tax laws and regulations, providing support and maintaining tax information
Support sales tax audits, prepare documentation, and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile tax accounts, identify inconsistencies, and ensure proper reporting
Use Vertex software for tax calculations and compliance filings
Maintain accurate records of all tax filings and audit documents
Provide data gathering support for compliance activities and tax filings
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in tax compliance or a related accounting field
Bachelor's degree required (Business or Accounting preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to research and interpret tax laws, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions
Preferred
Familiarity with tax software, e.g., Vertex
