New GradNEOGOV is seeking temporary unpaid interns in the Department of Social Services. The interns will gain practical experience by participating in various community programs and projects, including the Back to School Program and Holiday Sharing Program.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development and publishing of a newsletter for volunteers
Assist with conducting research and interviewing individuals for newsletter articles
Assist in the design and layout of newsletters as well as recommending the context of newsletters
Assist in soliciting volunteers in the community
Qualification
Required
Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field (ex: Human Services, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work)
All applicants/students must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0+
Students are required to upload an official or unofficial transcript to their application to demonstrate their enrollment status and GPA
All internships require on-site office hours during the work week. The location is in Anne Arundel County, Maryland
Preferred
Introduction to Computers
Desired experience with Microsoft and/or Google
Good communication and interpersonal skills
