Program Assistant (Treatment Court Program Assistant)

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Program Assistant for the Treatment Court Program. In this role, you will evaluate applicants' eligibility for program participation, monitor progress, and facilitate communication among various stakeholders to enhance the treatment court program.

Responsibilities

Help evaluate applicants’ eligibility for treatment court program participation and submit determinations for approval
Collaborate with the treatment court team to monitor participants’ progress and enter incentives and sanctions into the electronic case management system
Perform data entry, update program participants’ information, and prepare the treatment court dockets
Maintain databases related to housing, restitution payments, and graduations
Attend program participants’ court appearances to provide and collect information about their progress
Facilitate the exchange of information among judges, court managers and staff, public and private organizations, program participants, and other interested parties
Recommend supportive services and resources to program participants
Help conduct an annual participant satisfaction survey
Help plan treatment court program events and graduation ceremonies
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs

Required

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social/human services, or a closely related field
One (1) year of increasingly responsible technical or professional-level program experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position

Preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required

Benefits
