In this role, you will serve as a key technical expert supporting CNC programming across multiple production areas, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and automation teams to develop high-quality programs and improve machining efficiencies.

Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining centers
Convert engineering drawings (2D/3D) into accurate machine‑ready programs
Collaborate with engineers and machine operators to troubleshoot issues and refine programming strategies
Enhance toolpaths, improve material utilization, and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards
Support continuous improvement projects, automation initiatives, and new equipment integration
Maintain documentation and program libraries to ensure consistent machining practices across the facility
Contribute technical insights to improve manufacturability, reduce cycle times, and strengthen overall equipment performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field)
3+ years of hands‑on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD
Demonstrated experience programming 3‑axis and 5‑axis machines
Ability to interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering schematics
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Preferred
Experience with PLC programming or robotics
Prior leadership, mentorship, or project coordination responsibilities
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process‑improvement methodologies
