Camp Secretary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking a Camp Secretary to provide friendly and courteous service while managing the secretarial responsibilities of the camp. The role involves organizing camp registrations, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks under the supervision of the Camp Director.

Responsibilities

Responsible for typing, mailing and phone calling as needed
Coordinate camp messages and phone calls
Coordinate bus routes and bus lists
Organize camp registrations & rosters for Extended Care, Overnight events & Day Camp programs
Maintain files, camper emergency phone numbers, camp records and registrations
Camp marketing
Assist Director in overseeing Concession Stand orders (milk, ice cream, etc)
Maintain payment records on all campers
Distribute payment due notices prior to the start of camp
Bill delinquent accounts
Responsible for a neat, clean and organized desk area
Participate in overnights
Prepare weekly statistical reports
Provide friendly, courteous service to all members, clients and volunteers of the Y

Qualification

Required

Minimum 18 years of age
High School graduate
Working knowledge of Windows, Y Metro 5.0 and Excel
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Must be able to stand a majority of the work day
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop etc during the work day
