Responsibilities

Leading systems engineering efforts for a new aircraft design program
Supporting conceptualization, design, development, and refinement of advanced aircraft systems and structures
Collaborating with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, materials, and manufacturing teams
Driving requirements parsing, derivation, allocation, and traceability
Supporting systems integration, technical risk identification, and mitigation
Participating in verification & validation (V&V) activities across the product lifecycle
Contributing to the design, analysis, testing, certification, deployment, and improvement of aerospace systems supporting the UJTS program

Required

10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering or related discipline
Strong knowledge of: Requirements management & allocation
Strong knowledge of: Systems design and integration
Strong knowledge of: Technical risk identification & mitigation
Strong knowledge of: Verification & Validation (V&V) principles
Experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Permanent U.S. work authorization required and ability to meet federal contract requirements

Preferred

Experience with systems engineering & modeling tools such as: DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
Strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Familiarity with INCOSE standards (certification a plus)
Aerospace & Defense background
Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in complex development programs
Strong experience establishing and tracking Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
Experience conducting trade studies in high-impact design environments
