Sr. IT Recruiter
Ultimate Staffing is a talent acquisition partner seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to handle full life-cycle recruitment for engineering and technology roles. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, consulting with hiring managers, and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates while adhering to employment regulations.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute intuitive and proactive sourcing plans tailored to specific technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, Cybersecurity). This includes leveraging expertise in our technology stack to identify where target talent congregates online and offline
Employ highly creative and non-traditional sourcing techniques such as targeted social media campaigns, participation in relevant open-source communities, technical forum mining, and engaging with specialized tech groups to build robust, qualified pipelines
Consult with hiring managers and candidates on the technical recruitment process. Expertly screen and interview technical candidates for both required hard skills and cultural alignment. Administer appropriate technical assessments and manage the offer delivery process for exempt roles
Serve as a true consultant to engineering and business leaders, providing insights on market trends, compensation, and competition for technical talent. Develop strong relationships to deeply understand the strategic importance and technical requirements of each role
Build and continuously maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified, passive technical candidates using advanced sourcing tools and techniques
Manage all current candidate activity and data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), currently iCIMS. Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to current federal/state employment regulations (i.e., EEOC, ADA, etc.)
Demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values while championing diversity in the technical talent pool
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of dedicated technical recruiting experience (recruiting engineers, data scientists, technology leaders and product managers) in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated intuition and expertise in leveraging technology stacks to inform sourcing strategy (e.g., understanding the difference between a Python/AWS developer's profile versus a C#/Azure developer's profile)
Proven experience with building and utilizing creative, non-traditional sourcing plans and tools, including advanced boolean searching, proactive phone/internet research, and targeted outreach to passive technical talent
Excellent client and candidate management with the best level of customer service
Strong working knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc)
High proficiency in utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for sourcing, tracking, and managing a large volume of technical candidates
Excellent MS Office skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing technical landscapes
