3+ years expTyler Coupling, a division of McWane LLC., is seeking a Staff Accountant to work at their Marshfield, MO location. The Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting functions of the plant and support the Plant Controller in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries as needed
Review general ledger accounts
Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash accounts
Assist the Controller in month-end closing procedures as needed
Assist in all internal and external audits
Prepare and maintain procedure and standard work documentation for the department for Controller review/approval
Process and review accounts payable as backup support
Compile data and prepare a variety of reports as needed
Investigate questionable data
Assist with Sales and Use Tax Reporting quarterly/annually
Assist with year end tax and audit schedules
Assist with 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC form preparation and filing annually
Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of proven experience will be considered
3-5 years accounting or business-related experience, preferably in manufacturing
Understanding of Financial Statements, Journal Entries, and GAAP
Self-starter with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
