Responsibilities
Design and deliver end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric , Spark , and Azure Data Factory
Build and optimize Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions using Delta Lake
Implement and evolve Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) within OneLake
Develop scalable ETL/ELT patterns for batch and incremental ingestion
Tune performance through data modeling, partitioning, file design, and query optimization
Enable analytics via semantic models and Direct Lake for reporting platforms
Establish data quality, monitoring, and governance standards
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders on data modeling and design
Provide technical leadership through design reviews and code reviews
Qualification
Required
Must Have: Microsoft Fabric, Azure data ecosystem (ADF, Synapse, etc.)
Senior-level data engineering experience delivering production-grade data platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake)
Solid background in Azure data services (ADF, Synapse or equivalent)
Advanced Spark (PySpark / Spark SQL) and SQL skills
Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lake architectures
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Power BI or similar
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
