The successful candidate will manage a team and oversee the development and testing of advanced missile seeker technologies.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute and manage a geographically distributed team during the implementation of system processes
Conduct of System and Subsystem internal and field test events
Development of test and tactical software
Identification/allocation of new requirements for next generation advanced missile seekers

Required

Hold an active Secret security clearance
Significant experience with missile or smart munitions design, development, and fielding
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Must have experience as a systems engineer
HWIL or Systems Integration Lab development or operational experience
Must have experience leading technical teams
Must be able to track progress on team tasks and report progress to program team

Preferred

Hold an active Top Secret security clearance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in identifying and tracking technical risks
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Experience developing and flowing down requirements to testable modular hardware and software
Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines
The candidate should enjoy problem solving and have the ability to produce concrete results despite significant ambiguities in the problem space
Comfortable in a lab setting working with a combination of both hardware and software
Experience collaborating with design teams assessing threats, developing and quantifying operational level systems requirements, developing operational systems concepts, and assessing mission effectiveness in simulated environments
Understanding any of the Electro-Optical Infra-Red (EOIR), Laser, and Radio Frequency (RF) domains
Experience heading a FRB – Failure Review Board
Experience with planning, conducting or contributing to FRACAS Events and resulting trade studies
Exposure to technical performance measurements
Experience in any of the following is a plus: Aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, Semi-autonomous decision awareness
Model Based Agile Engineering (Value Driven Digital Threads) and Agile Mindset principle, practices & processes and tools & techniques
Developing and using analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, VBA, C/C++, Linux, or similar tools is required
MS Systems Engineering
Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML), Model Based Agile Engineering (Value Driven Digital Threads) and Agile Mindset principle, practices & processes and tools & techniques
