Responsibilities
Leverage SQL and data tools to build complex datasets and deliver insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations (Tableau, Power BI)
Develop, maintain, and automate departmental reporting and workflows using ETL/orchestration tools (SSIS, Power Automate, Automic)
Perform analytical work—including statistical, qualitative, and reconciliation activities—to support business decisions and ensure data accuracy
Improve processes by identifying efficiencies, enhancing documentation, and building tools that support operational excellence
Participate in (and occasionally lead) the planning, testing, and implementation of new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes
Troubleshoot technical issues and partner with technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve escalations
Support audits, user certifications, and compliance activities by maintaining required documentation and adhering to internal control standards
Uphold M&T’s risk, compliance, and operational policies while promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and brand‑aligned team environment
Perform additional duties as needed to support evolving business priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelors and a minimum of 2 years related business line experience
OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience
