Responsibilities
Program, edit, and optimize Swiss-style CNC machines for high-precision production
Develop and troubleshoot CNC programs, including advanced use of cutter compensation (G41/G42)
Create and modify programs using CAD/CAM software
Support machine setups and first-article prove-outs
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to ensure part accuracy
Partner with operators and manufacturing teams to resolve machining and program-related issues
Drive continuous improvement in cycle time, tooling strategies, and machining processes
Ensure compliance with ISO and internal quality standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of CNC Swiss programming experience required
Strong knowledge of Swiss lathes, tooling, and machining processes
Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM programming software
In-depth understanding of cutter compensation, feeds, speeds, and tooling selection
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation
Preferred
ISO or quality system experience preferred
