Responsibilities
Conducting regulatory research and analysis around federal health care regulations including the False Claims Act, Anti-kickback Statute, Stark Laws, HIPAA, Affordable Care Act, and other state and federal laws and regulations
Work with senior consultants on client engagements to assist health care organizations with the development, implementation, evaluation, and management of effective compliance programs
Receive extensive hands-on training in health care compliance and privacy, as well as research, analysis, and consulting skills
Extensive writing, interaction with clients, and will involve periods of travel
Qualification
Required
Ability to research and understand implications of federal health care regulations
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Professional demeanor and approach to work
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines
Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Preferred
Law Degree or Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Public Policy/Administration, or Business Administration (health care industry emphasis is preferred)
