New Grad, Entry LevelHarbor Health & Rehab is seeking a Staffing Coordinator who will work under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role involves maintaining schedules for nursing staff and assisting with resident care as needed.

Responsibilities
The Nursing Scheduler work with the D.O.N. under general supervision, maintain monthly and daily schedules for Nurses, C.N.A.'s, and Q.M.A.'s (e.g. handles telephone calls regarding call-offs tardies and/or no call no shows and replace them as needed) and individually performs resident escorts as needed
The Nursing Scheduler performs other related assigned duties as necessary(e.g.,assists staff in passing trays during meals times: assists nursing staff with resident care during shortages and/or inclement weather
Qualification
Required
Q.M.A
Formal education in arithmetics that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
Knowledge of office practices & procedures
Skills in operating office machines (computer, fax machine, copier, multi-line telephone)
Ability to deal with problems involving few variables within familiar context
Ability to read, copy, record figures, read short sentences with concrete vocabulary
Ability to copy records precisely without error
Ability to arrange items in numerical or alphabetical order
Ability to sort items into categories according to established methods
Ability to code items from one symbolic form to another
Ability to move limbs/fingers easily to perform manual functions
Ability to assess questions & provide appropriate information or referral
Ability to cooperate with co-workers on group projects
Ability to use MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Ability to lift, push, pull or otherwise move items up to 35lbs
