Responsibilities
Playtest new and existing versions of That’s Not My Neighbor to identify bugs, logic errors, and UI issues
Test doppelganger behaviors, dialogue logic, and identity verification mechanics
Report issues clearly with reproducible steps, screenshots, or video evidence
Evaluate gameplay balance, difficulty progression, and player decision clarity
Verify bug fixes in updated builds and ensure no regressions occur
Provide feedback on atmosphere, pacing, and player tension
Collaborate with the developer to improve the overall player experience
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive testing
Ability to notice subtle inconsistencies in character behavior, dialogue, or visuals
Clear written communication skills for bug reporting and feedback
Basic understanding of bug-tracking tools or structured reporting methods
Passion for indie games and psychological horror experiences
Preferred
Familiarity with horror, puzzle, or detective-style games is a strong plus
Experience with QA or game testing is preferred but not required
