Responsibilities
Process and match vendor and subcontractor invoices with POs; enter into accounting systems
Process vendor bills, maintain accurate records, and perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Manage weekly payment schedules, issue payments, and resolve invoice discrepancies
Verify expense coding, issue tax-exempt forms, and support AP reporting
Upload invoices, payments, and supporting documentation to SharePoint
Enter invoices and payments, deposit checks, and reconcile customer balances
Prepare monthly payroll, payroll tax calculations, and quarterly filings
Maintain payroll records and support related inquiries
Track insurance policies, renewals, and required documentation to ensure active coverage
Prepare financial schedules and documentation to support annual tax filings
Coordinate with external accountants as needed
Prepare monthly treasury reports and assist with cash flow monitoring
Maintain organized digital records for vehicle registrations, insurance, inspections, and fuel/gas logs
Ensure audit-ready compliance for all vehicle-related documentation
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or related industries
Strong knowledge of A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliation processes
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and time-management abilities
