Responsibilities

Manage and oversees the operations and activities of 16 AF/AP. As the Deputy Director of 16 AF/AP, directs, manages, and oversees 16 AF/AP (C-NAF Directorate) operations, plans, budget, and schedules for assigned tasks, programs, and personnel
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
Serves as Technical Director and primary consultant of Advanced Programs capabilities, portfolios and missions
Programs, plans, directs, and evaluates Advanced Program. Provides authoritative guidance, direction and oversight to 16 AF SAP, plans, budget, schedules and billets to 16 AF senior leadership, coordinating with MAJCOM, HAF & SAF/AQ
Manages/oversees Special Access Program developments and projects

Key: This is a key position. Incumbents must be removed from any military recall status if alternatives for filling during an emergency are not available
The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments
In the event of national crises, extensive after-duty or extended hours may be required to satisfy urgent operational support requirements

Extensive knowledge of the theories, concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and knowledge of cyber, disciplines to effectively apply advanced principles and concepts to new IW programs, projects, applications, capabilities, and other areas of responsibility as applied 16 AF priorities
Extensive knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analysis of complex information attained from multiple, diverse sources across IW; expert skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve complex issues or problems; combined with the experience and knowledge to oversee the execution of IW-related emerging technology acquisition and development
Extensive knowledge of USAF organizations, planning and programming methodologies, the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization establishing effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission
Expert Skill in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes; and quickly assimilating disparate data, rendering knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and making decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure
Expert ability in establishing organizational priorities and strategic direction, determining resource allocation, and identifying programs or infrastructures that are required to achieve goals within a domain of interest
Expert ability to effectively organize and analyze information; produce authoritative reports, position papers, and briefings that are responsive to the specific needs of commanders and senior management officials; present clear and concise findings; and effectively advocate for resources
Expert ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, negotiate complex issues, and resolve conflicts based on mature judgment, experience, and recognized professional standing; and ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, and/or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week
