Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatients
Provide daily follow-ups and discharge planning
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric conditions
Manage psychopharmacologic treatment plans and monitor outcomes
Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and de-escalation
Collaborate with nursing, social work, psychology, and medical teams
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the WellSky EMR
Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of care
Qualification
Required
MD/DO – Psychiatry
Board Eligible (Board Certified welcome)
BLS Certification required
Active Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain
No Suboxone certification required
