Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve territory sales goals and market share growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory, focusing on state, county, and municipal agencies, as well as private fleet operators
Maintain a strong understanding of A-Z Bus Sales’ product lines, including commercial, transit, and alternative-fuel buses
Prepare and deliver proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and manage the bidding process in compliance with government procurement standards
Conduct product demonstrations, customer visits, and vehicle presentations throughout the territory
Collaborate with internal departments including Service, Parts, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and customer communications
Attend trade shows, conferences, and regional events to promote the A-Z Bus Sales brand

Required

Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience in commercial vehicles, fleet sales, or transportation-related industries
Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ processes and contract-based sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Willingness to travel frequently throughout Southern California
Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record required

Preferred

Proven success selling to government agencies or public sector clients preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
