Responsibilities

Conduct background research on topics relevant to gender, education, and global development, and support drafting summaries of research findings that may be used in blog posts, presentations, or other research products
Provide administrative support including designing and evaluating the Echidna Global Scholars Fellowship, planning and coordinating weekly meetings and workshops, and monitoring and tracking project deliverables

Required

Advanced undergraduates (junior or senior year) or graduate students completing a degree in a relevant field (for e.g.., gender studies, history, international development, global affairs, or related social sciences or humanities)
Applicants must have prior experience (demonstrated either through coursework, previous internships, or research assistant positions) in conducting literature searches and reviews
Must have a strong interest in intersectional approaches towards gender, social justice, and/or global education and development
Strong written, organizational, and communication skills
This internship requires you to be located in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
Successful completion of a background investigation is required for interning at Brookings
Brookings requires that all applicants submit a cover letter and resume
