Responsibilities
Sell and deliver coffee, tea, and related products to assigned customers
Provide route relief as needed; ensure every customer on the daily set schedule receives delivery and service
Deliver, replenish, and rotate beverage station products at each call
Keep equipment clean and operational, conducting at least one CQC (Cup Quality Check) per day
Escalate customer issues promptly to the ASM (Area Sales Manager) and ensure customer satisfaction
Manage invoices, inventory, and collections daily when on a route
Grow Revenue per Stop by closing distribution voids on core items, executing seasonal and LTO promotions, applying pricing actions, and maintaining stations to standard
Report any inefficiencies, customer dissatisfaction, or new opportunities to the ASM while running route relief
Support the ASM with inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer matters as assigned
Learn brewing equipment and perform basic repairs or adjustments
Consistently follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process (The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell); make sales calls when time and opportunity allow
Pitch in as needed with warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service activities
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license
Must be able to complete a successful DOT physical
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean, strong driving record
Preferred
Route delivery experience a plus
Customer service background preferred
Previous foodservice industry experience desired
