Smart VAs Bookkeeping VA (Part-time)
Smart VAs is a virtual assistant agency that offers a wide range of services through collaboration with skilled individuals. They are seeking a Smart Bookkeeping VA who will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and creating financial reports for clients.
Outsourcing/Offshoring
Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
Complete tax forms
Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
Qualification
Required
Holds a degree in Finance (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses)
Has experience in Google Sheets and/or Excel
Has 3 to 6 months hands-on experience in Quickbooks
Familiar with accounting software packages like FreshBooks, Kashoo, and KashFlow
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Proficiency and hands-on experience in English and in MS Office, spreadsheets, and proprietary software
Can work part-time EST hours
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
