Nametag is building the future of secure digital identity, and they are seeking a Head of Talent & People to own the full employee lifecycle and build their People function. This role involves leading full cycle recruiting and establishing HR infrastructure while ensuring compliance for a distributed workforce.

Responsibilities
Lead full cycle hiring: sourcing, interviewing, offers, and closing across technical and GTM teams
Build diverse pipelines using creative sourcing and employer branding and agency support
Standardize ATS, interview loops, and candidate experience to move quickly and consistently
Develop and advise leadership on role definition, level stratification, and hiring standards
Design a remote-first onboarding experience that embeds our mission and values
Own HR systems: HRIS, benefits administration, documentation, and scalable processes
Ensure compliance for a distributed U.S. workforce while keeping operations low-friction
Help codify values, run internal communications, and lead engagement initiatives (including quarterly off-sites)
Qualification
Required
4–8 years in Talent/People at fast-moving startups, ideally as an early hire
Proven success hiring hard-to-fill technical and GTM roles
Strong operational discipline—ATS, HRIS, documentation, and process-first mindset
Experienced with remote-first teams and the nuances of distributed work
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable representing the company externally and writing internal policy
