Responsibilities

Architect and build the next generation compiler toolchain, performance simulator, runtime, and debugger for neuromorphic AI processors
Define and implement the software hardware interfaces that enable model conversion, deployment & debugging
Lead the migration of legacy tools into a unified, modern, developer friendly ecosystem
Manage and scale a global engineering team (initially 4 engineers, growing to 15 to 20) across multiple time zones
Work closely w/ chip architects, hardware designers & verification teams to ensure seamless hardware software codesign
Partner w/ executives, customers, and military/defense stakeholders to align platform capabilities with real world requirements
Develop system level models of neuromorphic IP to support simulation, validation, and performance exploration
Define RTOS or bare metal execution environments for ultra low power neuromorphic workloads
Build profiling, tracing, and instrumentation tools to analyze model execution on custom hardware

Required

10+ years in software architecture for hardware adjacent systems (compilers, runtimes, simulators, debuggers, or similar)
Proven experience shipping developer facing platforms used for hardware bring up, model deployment, or embedded AI
Deep expertise in compiler internals, graph optimization, runtime systems, or performance simulation
Strong understanding of hardware software codesign (SoC, embedded systems, or AI accelerators)
Experience managing remote, international engineering teams
Experience with neuromorphic computing, AI hardware, edge inference, or advanced semiconductor design
Exposure to both startup speed execution and large company engineering rigor
System level modeling of IP (SystemC or equivalent)
RTOS experience (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or bare metal firmware)
Quantization expertise, including QAT workflows
Experience building performance profilers or instrumentation tools
Deep learning expertise (LLMs, transformers, or state space models)
Compiler development for AI workloads
Hardware/SoC design exposure or hardware software interface design
