Senior PV Field Tech

ENGIE North America Inc. is leading the Zero-Carbon Transition by developing renewable and efficient energy solutions. The Senior PV Field Tech will support solar projects and clients throughout the Northeastern United States, focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar equipment.

Responsibilities

Review annual preventative maintenance reports to identify issues that require corrective action
Provide feedback to the Regional Service Manager and plan the corrective action for scope of work
Maintain detailed expense records for all service calls including parts costs, tools, mileage, and timekeeping

Required

A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D
A minimum of five (5) years of commercial, residential, or utility electrical experience
Troubleshooting experience with PV systems and/or electrical systems
Must be available to travel domestically 90% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; for the use of company, hire cars, and personal vehicles to drive to site locations
Physically able to walk and inspect construction sites for extended periods in varying weather conditions
Comfortable working in a field-based, hands-on environment with tools and equipment as needed
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Preferred

Knowledge of IT and SCADA would be beneficial
