Responsibilities

Conduct phone triage for patients
Provide patient education regarding care and treatment
Schedule appointments for patients
Process prior authorizations for treatments and medications
Manage prescription refills for patients
Coordinate referrals for specialist care
Assist with care coordination and other related tasks as needed

Qualification

Registered Nurse LicenseNursing ExperiencePhone Triage ExperienceEPIC ExperienceCompassionateCaringAccountableSelf-DirectedCommunication SkillsTeam Skills

Required

Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent team skills
Compassionate and caring
Accountable and self-directed

Preferred

Three years or more of nursing experience preferred
Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred
Phone triage experience a plus
EPIC experience a plus
