Lead a crew providing lawn maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, landscaping, and leaf cleanup
Oversee snow removal operations during winter months, coordinating routes and ensuring safe, timely service
Plan daily work, keep jobs on schedule, and meet client expectations without constant supervision
Operate your crew with ownership—managing efficiency, quality, and production as if it were your own company
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety standards, and efficiency in the field
Inspect equipment, perform basic upkeep, and coordinate repairs before breakdowns slow the crew down
Communicate with customers professionally to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
Track hours, materials, production, and job notes accurately
Follow company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
Lawn care or landscaping experience (2+ years leading a crew preferred)
Leadership skills—you can motivate a crew without babysitting
Solid understanding of lawn care practices, equipment operation, and basic plant identification
Comfortable making decisions in the field and taking ownership of results
Strong communication skills with both customers and team members
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Pesticide applicator's license or willingness to obtain one
DOT physical card or willingness to obtain one
