Paralegal

They are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support the Legal Department with a focus on litigation matters across their long‑term care facilities.

Responsibilities
Under supervision of an attorney, draft and prepare agreements, contracts, amendments, termination letters, correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents
Assist attorneys with all aspects of case file management, including legal research, document production, accuracy reviews, and cost tracking
Manage and maintain files and legal records in electronic database
Assist with contract audits and compliance reviews
Send demand letters, prepare and submit subpoenas
Communicate and coordinate legal documents and matters with outside legal counsel
Coordinate logistics for hearings, trials, and evidentiary proceedings
Calendar and track deadlines, hearings, and key litigation milestones
Perform administrative and project-based tasks as assigned
Communicate in a clear and concise manner with colleagues, opposing counsel, judicial staff, and other legal professionals
Qualification
Required
3+ years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on litigation
Paralegal certification or relevant degree required
Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery rules, and case management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, long‑term care, or insurance defense preferred
