Oversee the daily activities, and custodial staff per contractual agreement
Maintains cleanliness of contracted buildings and indoor premises
Responsible for maintaining client location in a clean and safe manner. This pertains specifically to restrooms and floors within the building/office
Responsible for restroom maintenance, office cleaning, dusting, sweeping, applying cleaning chemicals, mopping, spraying, waxing, and stripping floors
Ability to work with chemicals used for cleaning purposes
Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment in working order
Demonstrates excellent work habits, maintaining a good attitude
Ensure all safety rules are adhered to
Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. and persons receiving services
Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the building property
Responsible for maintaining the required company uniform and ensuring a professional appearance, and attitude at all times
Schedule staff weekly hours, ensure all time sheets are correct and turned in on time
Assist with performance evaluations
Be able to work on call, weekends, and holidays
Assists in other areas as requested
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to understand English/Spanish
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and be able to stand for long periods at a time; bend, reach and stretch repeatedly
Ability to follow verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work indoors
Valid driver's license and auto insurance required. Must be able to drive to other locations, as necessary
Must conduct themselves within Goodwill's ethics policy
Must be able to work flexible hours
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and people receiving services
Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
