Responsibilities

Create and execute the annual and quarterly sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market penetration
Serve as the primary business contact for key national and regional partners
Own the P&L for the sales segment
Design and implement sales programs, including market development program, co-op advertising, and incentive structures to motivate partner sales teams
Collaborate closely with Marketing to develop campaigns, with Product Management on roadmap input, and with Operations to ensure seamless fulfillment and inventory support for partners
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and market trends
Mentor and lead a team of sales, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Control preferred). Advanced degree or MBA is a plus
Minimum of 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within the industrial capital equipment or precision measurement/instrumentation sector
Proven track record (5+ years) in a leadership role (National Channel Manager, Director of Sales, etc.) with documented success in building and growing networks
Established network and strong existing relationships with key distributors, integrators, or direct sales channels in the metrology/industrial market
Strong understanding of channel dynamics, conflict management, and multi-tier distribution models
Excellent financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets and forecasting
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and executive-level communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50-60% domestically to meet with partners, attend trade shows, and support field teams
