Responsibilities

The person must be very comfortable with Linux commands and basic coding
They need strong expertise in GPFS and NFS — not just familiarity, but expert-level understanding and troubleshooting
Some level of basic Python scripting is preferred (not mandatory but helpful)
Knowledge of configuration management tools (like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) is expected
The environment is huge — around 70 petabytes (PB) of storage, meaning large-scale, high-performance storage operations
The role is specifically SRE for storage, meaning maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring reliability of storage systems
They will be responsible for stabilizing, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting all storage infrastructure
