Responsibilities

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including standard work instructions, assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process flowcharts. Maintain and update SAP Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related work instructions
Design and optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations to maximize throughput and minimize waste. Analyze and improve network performance within the production area
Oversee the production of complex Communication/EMI/EMC racks and associated products, ensuring adherence to cost and quality targets. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to racking, cabling, and system integration, escalating complex problems when necessary
Manage the estimation of production costs, contributing to accurate pricing and profitability analysis. Analyze product-related quality and performance data, utilizing statistical methods to identify trends and proactively address potential issues
Implement LEAN practices into daily operations, including tracking KPIs, facilitating Kaizen Events, utilizing A3 problem-solving, implementing 5S, and promoting One Piece Flow. Develop and deliver training to staff on new and existing processes, maintaining accurate training documentation
Create reports, presentations, and demonstrations to support process improvements and change management initiatives. Ensure all manufacturing procedures adhere to safety and environmental regulations and champion company standards and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required. Equivalent experience will be considered
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
Proficiency in Revit software, CAD, and MS Office Suite
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the ability to develop and implement systemic problem-solving procedures
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of personnel
Experience applying LEAN principles and working within a Quality Management System
Proven project management skills
Experience working with an ERP/MRP system, such as SAP
Must be able to meet the security requirements for on-site work for TSA, including Public trust, Background check, criminal records, work history and identity verification and fingerprinting
U.S. Citizenship or permanent work authorization required
