Interior Designer with 10-15 Years Experience

Responsibilities
Developing space planning concepts and generating program documents
Collaboration with the design team to help shape the user experience at a variety of project types and scales: core and shell to interior TI focused projects
Extensive experience with technical aspects of interior architecture and assembling construction documents for interior environments including millwork and detailing
Working with a project team including multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration
Demonstrating a high level of understanding of design concepts and ability to apply and execute assigned tasks and responsibilities which further the design concept
Being flexible and effective in order to work on multiple projects in various stages of development and scale
Well-versed with selection of color palettes, material presentations & design selection and specification of FF&E
Qualification
Required
A professional degree in interior design
Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) years of post-graduate experience with interior focused projects
Proficiency with Revit, Presentation software (Rhino, Lumion, Enscape) Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office platforms
Project knowledge as it relates to interior assemblies, finishes, casework, millwork and subsequent specification
Contributed meaningfully to projects that required a high level of interdisciplinary collaboration
An eagerness to both learn from and teach others in a team environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
The ability to be detail oriented and a critical design thinker
A refined interior design sensibility with a capacity to generate compelling presentations, graphics, diagrams, hand-sketches and renderings
A commitment and interest in pushing new design frontiers at the intersection of social equity and environmental sustainability
An understanding and interest in material exploration, research and project knowledge, particularly with how it relates to Red List chemicals
A high level of engagement with their work and deep curiosity about its relationship to broader issues
