Responsibilities
Collect data from multiple sources including on-prem, cloud, and APIs
Build scalable ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Event Hub
Clean, normalize, and enrich data for analytics and implement business logic in ETL/ELT workflows
Design and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse, optimizing for cost and performance
Monitor pipelines and optimize for speed and cost, scaling resources dynamically using Azure features
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Deep understanding of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Event Hub
Experience in designing data models for structured and unstructured data
Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL for Azure SQL), Python or Scala for Databricks, and PowerShell for automation
Experience with implementing RBAC, data encryption, and compliance
Ability to use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for monitoring and optimization
Preferred
Experience with Spark on Databricks for large-scale data processing
Knowledge of data governance policies and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA
Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, BI Developers, and Architects
