Responsibilities
Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
Answer guest inquiries about hotel service, facilities, and hours of operation as well as nearby restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc
Operation of the telephone switchboard in a courteous manner
Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel
Service customers at the Lobby Bar and Placery Grab and Go
Follow credit policies
Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions; be familiar with all in-house groups; be aware of closed out and restricted dates
Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate quoting scenario
Support our bar outlet by preparing a variety of foods and drinks according to instructions and store food in designated containers
Assist management with inventory control and stocking products
Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and all other employees
Sanitize keys when they are turned in and maintain lobby and public space cleaning
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 21+ years of age
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must be proficient with Windows operating systems
A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests
Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem-solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers
Flexible availability
Preferred
Customer Service experience in a hotel or related field preferred
Current Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certificates
