The Coordinator will collaborate with the Director for Specialized Programming to plan, develop, and lead the program for students with disabilities, ensuring effective communication and management throughout the duration of the program.

Responsibilities
Hiring all ESY staff
Arrange ESY building use with the building principal and custodial staff
Create updated TEAMS and coordinate IEP dissemination to classroom teachers
Plan and facilitate ESY faculty meetings and orientations
Create and update ESY Family Handbook
Develop student schedules
Work with custodial staff to ensure proper set-up and maintenance of the program
Communicate with selected teachers for ESY; address questions and concerns from parents
Supervise the instructional program, provide feedback to teachers, and support the management of student issues
Facilitate parent informational session as well as proactive communications with parents
Solve problems and make daily decisions to keep the program running efficiently and effectively
Oversee all facets of the program including student transportation
Qualification
Required
New York State certification (SDA/SDL) preferred
Experience working with students who demonstrate diverse learning and social emotional needs
In-depth knowledge of related services referenced in the Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Experience with collaborating with families, related service providers, and community supports
Commit to the dates/hours of the program that are listed above
