Responsibilities
Perform essential, entry-level manufacturing and assembly tasks in support of the production of miniature Cartridge-Actuated Devices (CAD) and Propellant-Actuated Devices (PAD)
Report directly to the Production Supervisor
Involve mechanical and electronic assembly operations, operation of assembly equipment under close supervision, and the weighing and pressing of pyrotechnic powders in accordance with approved procedures
Meet assigned job completion schedules
Perform self-inspections to ensure compliance with established quality and production requirements
Accurately report run times and quantities
Strict adherence to company, customer, and regulatory policies is required
Maintain assigned equipment and work areas
Promptly report any out-of-tolerance conditions, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervision
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and travelers
Basic math skills
Familiarity with standard measuring instruments (SMI)
Prepared for working conditions that involve exposure to machinery, chemicals, noise, and explosives
Ability to use personal protective equipment
