Responsibilities
Partners with assigned sales representative(s) to achieve sales or retention goals
Works to ensure administration of contractual requirements and obligations
Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, and in-services
Maintains ongoing account relationships at multiple levels throughout the customers' organizations
Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations
Communicates with physicians as to the outcome(s) of patient benefit investigations
Supports specialty pharmacy in the delivery of medications by procuring missing documentation, communicating information to physician offices, and related activities
Provides both on-site and off-site customer service
Researches and resolves phone and written inquiries
Coordinates open enrollment meetings, renewal process and training sessions
Documents and ensures that brand drug specific program steps are adhered to
Triages prescriptions to in-network pharmacy as necessary
Follows up with health plans and/or physician offices to communicate status and obtain prior authorizations
Maintains customer relationship management (i.e., CRM) and electronic medical records (i.e., EMR)
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Preferred
Strongly prefer a minimum of 2 years related experience in specialty pharmacy
