Responsibilities

Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment
Observe, analyze, and report test data; and when appropriate makes necessary repairs to equipment
Work closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings
Isolate problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolve as necessary
Validate the correctness of procedures. Selects, sets up and operates engineering and scientific equipment
Effectively communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s)
Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail condition and determine when further analysis is needed
Work independently to complete production/acceptance test to interpret pass/fail data to achieve production goals
This position requires lifting, walking, and could involve stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s)
This will be an onsite role in our Forest, MS facility

Required

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Experience with performance testing electronic circuits
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications or power systems
Experience with RF System and subsystem (Transmitter, Receiver, Antenna, Signal/Data Processor, Power Supply) evaluation
