Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Acquisition: Identify and initiate high-level dialogues with VPs of Licensing and Heads of Global Business Development at iconic New York-based luxury and lifestyle brands
White-Space Category Pitching: Develop and present robust business cases for non-core category extensions, demonstrating how Yibi can drive brand engagement in the daily lives of Chinese consumers
HQ Relationship Management: Manage complex, long-term relationships across global marketing, legal, and licensing departments at brand headquarters in the US
Market Advocacy & Data Reporting: Leverage Yibi’s real-world China market data to influence global brand strategy, highlighting opportunities within China’s Gen-Z, HNWI, and "Silver Economy" demographics
Omnichannel Distribution Strategy: Articulate our unique capability to reach "invisible" elite consumers via exclusive private banking ecosystems and premium digital storefronts without diluting core brand value

Qualification

Required

10+ years in Brand Licensing, Strategic Partnerships, or Global Business Development, with a strong background in the US luxury or premium lifestyle sector
An established, active network of senior decision-makers in the New York fashion and licensing industry
Strong understanding of royalty structures, minimum guarantees (MG), and the financial modeling required for multi-year licensing deals
Exceptional communication skills; the ability to articulate China's digital-first market logic to US-based brand guardians who value speed and scale
Proven track record of securing high-value, complex licensing agreements
Strong understanding of royalty structures and financial modeling

Proven negotiation skills

Preferred
