Research Technician
The UW School of Medicine and Public Health is offering an opportunity for a Research Technician to support the development of 3D microfluidic devices for modeling diseases like ovarian cancer. The role involves laboratory operations, data collection, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces
Reviews data to summarize results for presentations or reporting
Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications. Performs lab or field tests
Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications
May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or higher
At least 2-year experience working in research labs
Experience with cell culture in 2D and 3D
Experience with microfabrication procedures
Preferred
Microdevice design and fabrication using a variety of techniques (soft lithography, 3D printing)
Cell culture techniques in 2D and 3D (hydrogel generation, spheroids)
Experience with scientific writing (figure generation, writing of protocols)
Optical fluorescence microscopy
