Responsibilities
Assist in operating the shop machinery and equipment
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
Measure workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation
Remove defective products from workpiece
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
Set up and perform maintenance on machines
Perform related duties as assigned by supervision
Qualification
Required
Must be able to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance
Preferred
Previous experience in a bindery preferred
