They are seeking a Director of Regulatory & Compliance to lead the Governance, Risk, and Compliance strategy and ensure adherence to various regulatory frameworks while supporting the company's expansion.

Responsibilities

Help build and own a mature, scalable GRC framework to manage Garner’s regulatory risks, obligations, and internal policies
Serve as the internal point-person for the Revenue, Marketing, and other teams on day-to-day regulatory and compliance-related challenges and questions
Manage Garner’s ongoing compliance obligations, including its license application and renewal program and other required regulatory filings
Partner with the Product Team to provide guidance on new product initiatives and changes to existing products, ensuring that innovations remain compliant with applicable rules
Develop and maintain formal protocols for internal and external investigations, risk assessments, and incident response preparation
Provide generalist legal support on an as-needed basis

Required

7+ years of experience in regulatory and compliance, with practical working knowledge of key regulatory regimes applicable to Garner
A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admitted to a state bar
Proven experience building compliance programs from the ground up in a high-growth or startup environment
A willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success

Preferred

Ideally, experience working in a rapidly-evolving startup environment and a desire to support our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
