Goodwin Recruiting is a passionate, growing hospitality group that values teamwork, integrity, and innovation. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives across multiple Food & Beverage locations, focusing on recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried positions and support hourly hiring initiatives
Drive onboarding, training, and professional development programs that set employees up for success
Advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
Ensure compliance with federal and New York State labor laws and company policies
Maintain HR systems, personnel files, and reporting accuracy
Champion employee engagement and recognition programs that strengthen team culture
Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure a seamless employee experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in hospitality or multi-unit operations
Strong knowledge of federal and NYS labor laws and HR compliance
HRIS system experience and proficiency with HR technology
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Willingness to travel to New York locations at least three days per week
Preferred
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
