Responsibilities
Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific hospital construction projects, both onsite and offsite for the Atlanta area
Report on work progress and budget matters to leadership
Collaborate with architects, engineers, other construction and building specialists as well as internal departments within Northside Hospital from the schematic phase through the completion of the project
Utilize analytical skills for planning large-scale, multi-step projects
Make decisions to create a more streamlined process for selecting contractors, architects, interior designers, materials and equipment
Exhibit management skills to effectively delegate the responsibility for completing assignments
Communicate effectively with employees, write proposals, direct contractors, and coordinate multiple activities
Ensure that everything is on time and moving smoothly while managing several projects concurrently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in building science, construction engineering, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field
Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience as a project manager in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of architectural and engineering design operations
